Flu Season and H1N1 Information
The Creative Dance Center is committed to providing an excellent dance education to our students while maintaining a safe and healthy environment. In light of the coming flu season and concerns about the H1N1 virus we would like to share some common sense steps that you can take to keep you and your family healthy.
What you can do:
- Stay home if you or your child is sick! Runny noses and coughs can spread germs, so err on the side of caution.
- Sneeze or cough into a tissue, elbow or sleeve. Throw the tissue in the trash after use.
- Wash your hands with soap and water before and after class. Wash hands frequently with soap and water for 20 seconds, especially before eating
and after using the restroom. Be sure to set a good example by doing this yourself. If soap and water are unavailable, alcohol based hand sanitizers may be used and are available in both studios.
- Avoid touching your eyes, nose or mouth. Germs spread that way.
- Do not share water bottles or other personal belongings.
- Please stay at home until you or your child has been fever-free for 24 hours without the use of fever-reducing medicine.
- Stay at least three feet away from people who are sick.
